display-dhammapada software package provides fortune-like collection of Buddhist sayings, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install display-dhammapada
display-dhammapada is installed in your system.
Make ensure the display-dhammapada package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep display-dhammapada *
You will get with display-dhammapada package name, version, architecture and description in a table
